The Start of Something New

Hello! This is my first official post as the author of Forever Golden Living, a spinoff from my first lifestyle-fashion-photography blog, foreverkellyjo.

My entire life, I’ve been a lover of all things creative, and all things fashion. I’ve stored moments, outfits, and scenes as detailed visuals in my brain from little on…a practice that later lead to my bachelor’s degree in Photography and Digital Imaging, that I now utilize in the fashion and lifestyle industry.

My husband Cory and I were married in August 2014. We come from the same small town in southeastern Minnesota, though we didn’t cross the dating path until later in life. Cory works for the Minnesota Timberwolves and I work as a clothing stylist and freelance photographer.

We recently moved back home where we are living atop a hill in the countryside in a house that was built in 1965.  Remodeling has been a great adventure all spring and summer. From the cities, we brought with us our Australian Shepard, Bella, and have recently acquired six pet chickens who lay fresh eggs daily.

In November, we found out we were going to be parents. Our baby boy was due on July 29…We anxiously awaited his arrival…

Everett James came into this world on August 3, 2015.  He has brought us the greatest joy, but more on that in my next post….

Welcome to my very own not always beautiful, somewhat disastrous exploration of an imperfectly golden life.
