I find that an outfit is most complete when comprised of three main pieces, and often accented with some fun dainty details.
In this look, the printed romper makes a statement, and is complimented by a subtle-yet-cool floor-length cardigan and transitional booties. Chinese Laundry actually gave me a #repost for this look, shown below.
For the following outfit, this royal blue top popped against easy dark skinny jeans and a fun shoe. [I always appreciate when one of the three main pieces is less subtle than the others].
When I am at a loss for what to wear, I often grab an easy dress. Messy hair? Nothing a hat can’t fix.
This last everyday ensemble comes from a recent blog post, “Kick Back & Relax“…It’s totally got the three-piece concept going on with a shift dress, a chambray jacket and a pair of everyday kicks. I added some unique-ness with a watch and dainty necklaces.
