My background includes working as a stylist at Madewell, as well as working as a store manager, stylist and brand photographer for Primp Boutique. I took all the photos for Primp’s new website (2015) and did seasonal shoots for the company for nearly two years. I’ve been writing and photographing fashion blogs for about six years.

My personal style is often plain in color, but rich in finding the right fabrics and cuts for my shape. I appreciate trends but try to stick with what feels right for me. My grandmother taught me to love a good neutral–taupe, off white, grey and black make up my personal rainbow.

Overall, I try to find a good balance of high quality pieces, and inexpensive, fun looks.  I also really love to support local designers, boutiques, and artists when I can and I’m always open to finding new places to shop!

One last bit of advice: follow the washing instructions given to you by the stylist/sales associate for every item you buy. If they don’t break it down for you, read the tag carefully. I rarely dry my clothing, and I almost always do a cold/delicate wash cycle. I like to hang my items up as soon as they’re done washing. I will add that a steamer is your friend.
