Like many people in this world, mental health is something I struggle with. Without getting too far into the nitty gritty, I can openly say it has affected me since I was very young. I’ve never wanted to let it hinder me from fully participating in my life, so I work very hard to keep myself in check! As an adult, I’ve become very aware, and I know that I do best when I eat clean, journal, and take good care of myself both spiritually and physically. I’ve recently fallen in love with cooking and meditation–unrelated, I know, but both so very therapeutic!
